The Top Baby Monitors Reviewed by Julie Jones.

We all want our babies’ safe and getting everything they need. If your baby sleeps in a separate bedroom, a baby monitor camera will make you feel at ease knowing that you can still see and hear what your baby while you are in the other bedroom. Baby monitors with camera work best for parents who leave their children sleeping at night in a separate room. This is an easy way for the parents to see and attend immediately to the child’s needs.

In this report I will provide with some useful tips and recomendations that you’ll need to bear in mind and review some of the latest models.

There are a lot of baby monitors with camera available in the market. Thanks to technology, they have developed a way to make parents at ease at night and during the day when they have something important to do that require them to leave their babies in their respective bedrooms. If you are looking for baby monitor cameras, finding the best one is A-MUST.

Listed below are the features you should look for in a baby monitor camera.

  • Video quality. It should be perfect during the day and especially all throughout the night. Usually at night, we only leave a night lamp on and it tends to be dark in different areas of the bedroom and some parts are difficult to see, so it is best to have the perfect video quality when choosing a baby monitor camera.
  • Audio and reception. Find the camera with audio settings and make sure that the microphone attached to the camera is sensitive that even you can hear a pin drop.
  • Wireless or plug-ins? It is really up to you but wirelesses are highly-recommended since the wires used in plug-ins can be very dangerous to the baby.
  • Portable baby monitor. If you want a baby monitor that you can carry everywhere, there are baby monitors that can easily be clipped on belts or on shirts so you can hear and see everything even if you are in a different part of your home.
  • Range. The range of the baby monitor should also be considered so you can go anywhere and still get a proper view on the monitor even if you are a hundred steps away from the baby.
  • Underwriters labs or UL. This means that the monitor has gone through an evaluation and passed and is fit for distribution and safe to use.

Getting the perfect baby monitor camera with the features listed above will ensure parents safety and convenience when using the monitor. We all want the best especially for our children, so it is best to check these features before buying baby monitors with camera.

I’m impressed!
My experience with video baby monitors is limited to one purchased about six years ago which, up until I received this product, I believed was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The Lorex “Snap” monitor is, as of the writing of this review, the greatest thing since sliced bread as far as video baby monitors are concerned. The screen is the perfect size. The field of vision covers more than enough area and the smaller screen allows for true portability, which leads me to the next positive. This product is really portable. While the camera/cameras can be mounted to a wall (and easily detached), the design allows for set up on any flat surface. The monitor itself is about the size of a large cell phone and, with its handy charging port and long battery life, can be brought just about anywhere due to its wireless feature.

Another big advantage, to me, of the Lorex monitor is that it allows room for growth, enabling up to four cameras to be monitored on the same device. So far I have only utilized one camera with this unit, but I like the fact that I have options if I need them. All in all, the Lorex “Snap” is a great product that I would recommend to anyone in the market for a video baby monitor.

Love it!
We got an amazing deal on this top quality baby monitor and it’s amazing! I have my bedroom back and I don’t have to worry about our son so much! We can see him, hear him, record him, take photos, and talk to him, all with a device small enough to go in one hand! We’ve taken the monitor all over the house to watch and it easily allows us to see him with no interference downstairs when he is upstairs and even out to our mailbox. We’ve had it for about a month now and our baby is sleeping through the night and my wife and I can sleep peacefully knowing we will be alerted anytime anything is wrong. Awesome!

Indispensable!
I did some research before settling on this monitor. And I have not been let down at all. Both video and sound are of sufficient quality to know exactly what the baby is doing. Would’ve been nice if it could’ve had two-way radio so you could remotely comfort the baby with your voice, but I guess other monitors don’t have that either. Concerning wireless interference : In our house we don’t have cordless land line but do have satellite dish and wireless internet. No problems with the monitor on whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to new parents!

Awesome!
I love having this thing; we use it every night! It comes with rechargeable batteries already in it and you don’t have to take the batteries out to charge them as they recharge inside the handheld when it is plugged in. Sometimes we put our kid in his swing to sleep and all we have to do is place the camera over him and we can still see him. It also has this zoom feature. It”s so nice to be able to see him and know that he is ok without having to sneak in his room and wake him up. I bought one of these for my sister and she loves it too!

Hesitated at the price, now it’s one of my best baby purchases!
I have a very wiggly baby who has hummed and talked to himself in his sleep since birth. Instead of buying a regular sound monitor, I looked into video monitors so I didn’t have to check on him every time he made noises and wiggled around. The first day I used it, I found it to be worth its weight in gold because of the worry-free spare time it gave me.

I’ve had the unit for four months now, daily use, dropped it pretty badly once, with no problem so far whatsoever. Love it!

Reliable product, Cool thing to have!
I got this item for my baby shower, so I never got a chance to review it first, but I am very happy with the monitor! The picture is really clear and so is the night vision. I like the idea that the camera part is moveable, so it’s easy to get in just the right position to see the baby. It also has a nice long cord on both pieces. I do get some static in certain parts of the house (mostly in the kitchen area), but I’ve had much more static with my previous basic baby monitors. I also like the on/off button on the top, so if I just want to listen, it shuts off the screen
